Transport Compliance Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for the position of a Transport Compliance Supervisor on a permanent full-time basis in VC Dundalk. The purpose of this role is to ensure consistent and managed processes in our Transport Department delivering high level service to our customers.

Main Duties/Responsibilities: 

· Daily route and resource planning

· Ensuring consistent service and communication with all internal and external customers

· Debriefing drivers and addressing any issue with drivers, customer service, quality team or ROA as applicable

· Compile weekly working hours and ensure all is in accordance with the Working Time Directive

· Update vehicle maintenance list and fleet maintenance

· Downloading of vehicle information within RSA and company requirements

· Downloading of driver tacho details within RSA and company requirements

· Action any infringements arising from download information

· Print loading paperwork and make changes to driver routes if required

· Ensure that all company paperwork is managed as per best practice and procedure

· Oversee the implementation of VITA logistic system

· Review and analyse the efficiency and profitability of routes

· An understanding of the capacity of the fleet and maximising the loads

· Key holder

· Control the pick to ensure efficiency in preloading vehicles where possible

· Daily communication with Pick Team Customer Service and ROA teams including updating of delivery status

· Ensure all vehicles and drivers documentation and licences are RSA compliant

· Ensuring that the vehicles are HACCP compliant including cleaning and temperature records

Job requirements

The candidate must:

· Be flexible with working time

· Excellent influencing skills required

· Organised and prepared

· Have the ability to build strong communications with drivers and customer service team

· Have an understanding of RSA requirements including tachograph rules and driving hours

· Have the ability to work within a team environment, and on own initiative

· Be proficient in Excel and MS Word
