Contract Length: 12-month Company Placement, with potential extension.
Start Date: Febuary 2025
Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Salary: Real Living Wage (currently £12.60 per hour)
Location: Belfast
Job Description
As a VFX Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the production team by contributing to various aspects of the visual effects pipeline. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and creative environment while working on high-profile projects.

- Artistic and Technical Proficiency: Ability to create and execute work that meets both artistic and technical standards.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and precision in delivering work, with a strong ability to follow specific instructions.
- Adaptability: Readiness to learn and effectively integrate new tools, techniques, and workflows into your practice.
- Organisational Skills: Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple deadlines.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work productively as part of a team.
- Portfolio: A link to a portfolio or showreel showcasing your skills across various disciplines (modeling, texturing, lighting, compositing, etc).
Desirable Criteria
- Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of VFX industry-standard software such as Maya, Houdini, and Nuke.
- Educational Background: Visual Effects, Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
