About the role
The successful candidate will be part of an established civil engineering team. The role offers an opportunity to work on a diverse range of infrastructure projects (across all stages of development), applying your analytical skills and experience when carrying out feasibility studies, detailed designs, and preparing reports and technical specifications. You will also have the opportunity to be part of a proactive learning environment within a multidisciplinary team.
About you
You will have experience in data collection and analysis, reviewing and building transport models using various modelling tools, and planning and evaluating future transport schemes and associated business cases. You will be responsible for reviewing drawings and documents, including transport assessments and travel plans, preparing reports, presentations, bids and proposals, and attending meetings and workshops with clients and members of other disciplines. You will have demonstratable creative and logical thinking experience to resolve design issues.
Skills & experience
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent and ideally a post-graduate degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years post-graduate experience in a similar role.
- Self-motivated.
- Solid communication and IT skills.
- Experience in working on Active Travel, Transportation, Planning & Road Design projects.
- Experience using ARCADY, PICADY, OSCADY and/or TRANSYT desirable but not required.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D desirable but not required.
- Experience in road safety auditing desirable but not required.
