Therapy Assistant

• 0.5WTE (18.5 hours)
• Temporary Specified Purpose (approx. 24 months)
• H.S.E. funded
• Based in Blackrock Hospice

The post holder will work under the direction and guidance of Chartered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to support the provision of therapy services. Under supervision, s/he will carry out a flexible range of direct work with patients, and preparatory, cleaning and administrative duties as required.

Essential Requirements

• FETAC Level 5 Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant course or equivalent or working toward same
• Willingness to undertake further in-house training
• Relevant experience in a healthcare setting
• Proficient in Microsoft packages including Word and Excel
