Technical Account Manager
The Technical Account Manager is responsible for every aspect of the customer relationship from generating quotes to reviewing contracts, from identifying customers' needs to providing solutions to meet those needs. They are in constant communication with other sales personnel and departments in the pursuit of delivering exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will grow sales by being proactive, fast paced, responsive and accurate with an ability to build long term business relations.
We're looking for an exceptional candidate with the following attributes:
· Relevant Sales Experience in a experience in a Business-to-Business Environment
· Proactively develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts.
· Building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, preparing quotations and lead follow- up
· Manages relationships with key accounts and works to ensure customer satisfaction at all levels; develops and maintain contacts in the customer and manufacturing communities
· Develops/reviews price quotes subject to management approval, negotiates contracts and reviews sales agreements with business customers
· Troubleshoots and resolves customer complaints and issue, follow-up on late orders, monitors open order status, solves internal problems.
· Proactively generates leads and builds relationships by organising daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
· Highly organised with strong administration skills
· Solution-oriented and focused on customer satisfaction
· An aptitude for handling and prioritising complex tasks in a technical environment
Applicants must have Technical Account Management experience in a B2B environment, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, strong computer and administrative skills, and an ability to handle inbound sales queries.
Fluency in the English language is a requirement.
The ideal candidate will possess a technical, business, science or related degree and have experience of working in a sales environment.
