The Role:

The Transaction Services teams within Uisce Eireann Business Services are responsible for providing an effective and efficient service to the Uisce Eireann business in relation to Finance, HR, and Procurement transactional activities, in addition to a number of reporting and compliance activities for the Business Services unit as a whole. The HRTS team provide HR transactional support to Uisce Eireann. It will support the business across a wide range of activities including learning and development, pensions, payroll, schemes, and recruitment.

Reporting to the Human Resource Transaction Services Manager, the Talent Acquisition Team Lead will direct a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists and Administrators to ensure business capability is maintained and delivery of business objectives are achieved through timely and suitable appointment of both permanent and temporary resources. 

The Talent Acquisition Team Lead will be responsible for managing internal and external recruitment for Uisce Éireann, whilst driving a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. They will develop key relationships with Senior Management, the HR Business Partnering team, the Transition & Integration team and the wider HR Community to understand talent acquisition needs. They will oversee the provision of key recruitment KPIs and identify areas of development across the recruitment lifecycle. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners and Workforce Planning Lead to create a resourcing plan and lead all recruitment activities, ensuring that Uisce Éireann is best placed to meet business capability requirements through the attraction and recruitment of permanent and temporary employees
  • Partner with Senior Management, HR Business Partners, and the wider HR community to understand and identify talent acquisition needs and opportunities to facilitate strong relationships
  • Manage a team of TA Specialists and Administrators to drive efficient service delivery and quality outputs, in line with agreed SLAs and quality metrics
  • Oversee the provision of a high quality, responsive and effective recruitment and administration support service
  • Develop and utilise direct sourcing strategies and define innovative solutions to ensure consistent results and high-quality candidates for both standard and difficult to fill roles 
  • Manage the training of managers to support interview activities, ensuring that all interviewers are skilled to conduct competency interviews aligns to the organisation’s recruitment processes and equal opportunities commitments 
  • Ensure that information packs for interviewees are regularly reviewed and updated
  • Manage the routine updating of panel interview packs, in-line with the competency framework document
  • Manage all stages of large-scale panel recruitment ensuring a good candidate experience. Work with senior stakeholders to enable fulfilment of offer extension for critical roles and provide accurate reporting to senior management regularly. Implement process controls so that operational requirements are adhered to at all times 
  • Drive the development of a recruitment statistics tracking and reporting system to facilitate the production of regular, accurate KPIs/analytics and provision of meaningful interpretation to the Business
  • Responsible for tracking and analysing service offering performance against operational KPIs

Please note the Market reference point (midpoint) of the range is generally the upper end of the offer where someone is deemed to be fully competent to take on the duties of the role, and leaves room for the employee to progress through the pay range as their experience develops further
