SUPPORT WORKER (Childcare)

Marian Junior Pre-School, Tullamore, Co Offaly.

(Permanent Part Time - 40 Hours Per Fortnight)

(Monday – Friday roster)

Marian Junior Pre - School is a well-established preschool where children aged 2.5 to 5 years with addition and complex needs attend for pre school. We are looking for a dynamic person who has genuine interest in early education and care for children with complex needs. If you are willing to be committed, share your knowledge, we would like to meet you. We require a person with very good observational and communication skills who is fun loving and enthusiastic to join our team.

Essential Requirements:

• FETAC/ QQI Level 5 in Childcare.
• Experience of working with children with Intellectual Disability
• Minimum of 1 year experience in similar setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic, energetic and a team player
• A Valid Licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland.
• Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role
