Support Worker, Care Assistant

Support Worker – (aligned to the Care Assistant (Disability Services)salary scale)

(Community Hubs, Day Service, Community based settings)

Flexibility with shift patterns will be required for this role.

Successful candidates for all positions will:

• Possess a QQI 5 Major Award qualification in a relevant area

• Have a general understanding of current legislation (New Directions, ADMA, UNCRPD)

• Excellent communication and listening skills

• Demonstrate previous engagement within community-based settings

• Possess initiative, flexibility & good organisational skills

• Excellent team working skills

• IT Skills

• A Full clean driver’s licence (is desirable)
