Purpose of the Role,

In this position, the Supply Chain Planner will support build adherence and execution of Abbott Ireland Diabetes Care’s European TPM Division at Third-Party Manufacturing facilities in Dublin and Cork.

The ideal candidates will have a good working knowledge of Supply Chain Planning. We are looking for ambitious, results driven and goal focused team members who want to help maximise the effectiveness of the supply chain operation while growing their career within the Diabetes Care Division. This role will be based in our Liffey Valley office.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Third level qualification in Business or applicable Supply Chain qualification. 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with Supply Chain experience. Experience of supply chain in medical device industry is an advantage but not a necessity.
  • TPM Experience
  • Experience with production planning and procurement, MRP and ERP systems, SAP preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supply plan adherence and execution at European TPMs.
  • Creation and coordination of component demand plans.
  • Coordination of demand change request execution at TPMs aligned to business needs.
  • Oversight and control of TPM WIP component inventory levels.
  • Alignment and execution of supply plans with ADC Global Supply Chains teams.
  • Collection and analysis of TPM supply chain output data.
  • Responsibility for controls and oversight of SKU Shelf-Life Management at TPMs.
  • Delivery Performance and KPI tracking.
  • Demand scenario planning, analytics, and risk mitigation planning.
  • Raising Purchase requisitions and BOM maintenance in SAP.
  • Supply chain and material support for all TPM projects.
  • New part introduction supply chain support.
  • Collaboration and participation in team continuous improvement activity to deliver supply chain excellence.
