Our Home Care team helps and goes above and beyond to care for vulnerable adults, elderly people, and children. They are experienced, dedicated, resilient, empathetic, and understanding.

Komfort Kare also acts as an HSE provider. We offer clients a range of behavioral support, domestic assistance, personal care, complex care, ASD and ID support, and 24-hour healthcare services.

We are currently recruiting for the following locations:

• North Dublin

We want to hear from healthcare assistants who are:

• Healthcare Assistants/Senior Healthcare Assistants/Rapid Responders looking to take the next step in their careers or experienced supervisors looking for a new challenge
• Reliable, caring, and have a passion for caring
• Eligible to work in Ireland

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Community:

• To undertake spot checks with healthcare assistants within the community
• To undertake client reviews in relation to the care they are continuing to receive
• To carry out the completion of staff introductions in line with the company policies and procedures
• To be responsible for staff shadowing – ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures
• To undertake emergency cover - Rapid response (filling new packages and discharges)
• To evaluate and monitor the quality of the care delivered to clients and report to the area manager with concerns
• Support and assist with care team development
• Checking and collecting journal notes from clients' houses
• Delivery of care plans, log sheets, and gloves to clients' homes when required
• Delivery of PPE

Office:

• To update online system documentation i.e., reviews and spot checks
• To develop a planned working week by booking in reviews (including confirming with NOK and clients)
• To develop a system of completing spot checks with healthcare staff
• To be responsible for filing paperwork
• To provide support to coordinators with uncovered tasks in an emergency if needed
• To attend weekly check-ins with teams as required

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends on rotation
• 9-hour shifts

Key Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in homecare or healthcare
• QQI Level 5 Major/Support and Level 6 Supervisory Management or Full QQI level 6
• Full clean driving license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

What Will Be Required from You to Complete:

• Garda Vetting
• International Police Clearance (If you have lived 6 months or more outside of Ireland from the age of 16 years old)
• Patient Manual Handling - In-house training
• 2 days induction - In-house training
