Responsibilities
The main objective is to assume full responsibility for the daily running of the store and to build a motivated team by developing store colleagues through training and coaching.
Brand Ambassador: expected to take an active interest in the business, brand and products, to continuously keep up to date with all relevant changes and communicate with our customers about our Company.
We are looking for someone who is driven, self-motivated and able to work alone as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate must be able to assist the Retail Manager in maximising the profitability of the store by developing and managing sales. The candidate must be flexible according to the needs of the business and available to cover holidays if needed.
The position will include a variety of tasks, so an ability to join in with all aspects of sales and team management is an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
Be educated to a degree level (or equivalent) with a minimum of ideally 3 years’ experience gained through working in the same positionBe self-sufficient and flexible with experience in managing a team and stockLead by example on the sales floor with a friendly approachExceptional customer service and sales skillsMaintain stock inventory levels in line with the current range profileEnsure high standards of cleanliness on the sales floor and in the stockroom areasComply with company policies and training programmes including health & safety regulations Accurately complete all paperwork forms on time for reportingAbility to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and identify areas of development for your teamImplement company visual merchandising strategy including accurate signage, ticketing and pricingExcellent communication skills with all employees and customersPC literate - MS Office, Word, Excel essentialProduct knowledge and market awareness would be an advantageAbility to prioritise and organise daily tasksGood problem-solving skillsGood standard of numeracy and literacyHave excellent presentation skillsAbility to learn and teach (full training will be provided
