Currently a position is available for:

12 MONTHS FIXED TERM

FULL-TIME CONTRACT (39 Hours Per Week).

Salary:€33,598 -€42,613

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience.

Avista is a dynamic disability service providing clinical supports and residential services to children and young people with complex disability and their families. We have 3 network teams in Blanchardstown, Blakestown & Cabra.

We have an opening for Speech and language Therapy Assistant post available in Blanchardstown CDNT. However, at times duties may be assigned across the three teams.

Essential:

• Possess the Certificate in Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support at Level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) maintained by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).
• Must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
• Full Clean Driving licence and use of a car
• Candidates must have the personal competence and capacity to properly discharge the duties of the role.
• Understanding of children First policy

Desirable:

· Experience working with children with disability and their families.

· Experience working as part of a team.

· Any relevant post graduate training specific to child disability services.

You will be joining a dynamic, family centred, interdisciplinary team with excellent access to supervision and support from Senior SLTs. The successful candidate will be required to carry out clinical and administrative duties that support the SLTs and the interdisciplinary team in providing a high-quality service to children and young people with complex needs. The candidates will work in partnership with families within a family centred model.
