About The Role
Working as part of the Clinical Technologies team based in our Charnwood site in Loughborough, you will be responsible for testing software that supports medical professionals to run clinical trials and enables the development of pharmaceutical products and treatments. Our software supports blinded clinical trials, where neither the doctor nor patient will know which treatment the patient is receiving, therefore it is essential that our systems are performing correctly at all times.
Working as part of the wider Almac team, you will plan, execute and document the testing of all study (IXRS) systems. This will include both manual and automated testing, in addition to tracking any errors through to resolution.

About You
To be successful in this role, we’re looking for you to have the following essential criteria:
- Third level qualification in Computer Science or related subject or significant relevant experience.
- Experience of testing in a highly regulated environment.
- Proven record of success in writing and executing manual and automated tests.
- Demonstrated knowledge of formal testing methodology and best practices.
- Experience of testing web based and locally deployed client-server projects.
- Experience using formal test management tools, e.g. Azure Dev Ops.
The following desirable criteria would also be beneficial to your application, but is not essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Science related field and comparable work experience demonstrating ability
- Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 and other FDA regulatory requirements
- Experience using change management tools.
- Basic familiarity with Object Oriented programming concepts and C#
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server) and SQL
