Social Media Content Creator

Virgo Boutique is looking for a creative, organised and content obsessed individual to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work well independently in a fast paced environment while ensuring their work is carried out to a high standard. The successful candidate will develop creative video and imagery to generate buzz on social media and contribute to our growth across all channels. This is currently a part time role (3 days) but could progress into a full time position in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Brainstorm, produce, create and schedule social media content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.
• Livestream on TikTok, showcasing products to a live audience. The ideal candidate would be happy to present in front of the camera as well as assist other presenters from behind the camera.
• Assist on weekly e-commerce photoshoots and will be required to slot into different roles, including photographer, videographer or editor (training is provided).
• Maintaining the studio space and equipment and preparing the set and stock for colleagues.
• Use your creative eye to identify upcoming influencers who align with the brand.
• Be alert to upcoming social and fashion trends and be able to pivot plans in order to adapt to the changing external environment.
• Liaise with the marketing and product team daily.
• Work with our customer support team to manage and respond to customer enquiries to foster our social community.

Requirements:

• Previous experience creating content for social media or working in store for a fast paced e-commerce retailer is beneficial.
• Experience with photography and videography (iPhone will suffice). A basic knowledge of photoshop and a video editing software is a bonus (FinalCutPro/Capcut, etc).
• An understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
• Must have full drivers licence and have own transport to be able to travel between Newcastle West and Ardagh in County Limerick.
• The nature of the role is very dynamic, so flexibility and adaptability is vital.
• Due to the nature of TikTok Shop, evening work may be required
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
