Applications are invited for the following position:

SOCIAL CARE MANAGER GRADE 3 (AREA MANAGER)

Specified Purpose Contract Covering Maternity Leave

39 hours per week

LOCATION: LIMERICK COMMUNITY SERVICES

Essential:

  • Possess a relevant level 8 qualification e.g. Social Care, Quality, Nursing, Management, etc.
  • Have at least 3 years post qualification experience in people management.
  • Have a proactive approach to leading, driving and implementing change with excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills.
  • Have strong leadership qualities, highly motivated, innovative with the ability to work on own initiative along with the skills to manage and influence staff in a team working environment.
  • Have a strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
  • Have a strong knowledge of New Directions Standards
  • Have relevant knowledge and experience of providing residential & day services to adults with an Intellectual Disability.
  • Possess a full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Will be required to meet staff and people supported by the services on a regular basis. These visits will take place outside the normal 9 – 5 time frame.
  • Will be required to work a number of weekends throughout the year
