JOB TITLE: MULTI-SKILLED SERVICE PARTNER - SHIPPINGREPORTS INTO: SHIPPING LEAD

ABOUT THE ROLE:

A multi-disciplinary role supporting the shipping function and facilities management within a central Dublin office.

Delivering day to day support to ensure the smooth running of our service whilst providing an exceptional customer experience within our Client sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing of Legal Mail & coordination with Meta Legal Team
  • Receive, count and verify all incoming parcels and deliveries
  • Logging all packages and bulk shipments into the package tracking system and distributing mail across the site using a scan and sign system
  • With training, using the X-Ray machine to scan all incoming mail
  • Processing, sorting, and staging packages for delivery
  • Preparing outgoing shipments with appropriate shipping documentation and collaborating with relevant teams to get all documentation and approvals
  • Recording shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
  • Managing same day shipments to ensure they are delivered within the expected time
  • Coordinating special shipping requests and working with management relevant approvals
  • Maintaining export compliance records, as required and coordinating export compliance issues
  • Reporting damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record keeping
  • Working as part of the multi-service team: Supporting Events, Mailroom, Facilities and Moves, Adds and Changes (MAC) where needed
  • Working in accordance with health and safety measures and promoting best practice amongst colleagues, contractors and vendors
  • Conducting risk assessments and following safety protocols
  • Providing back up support to the facilities manager on a day-to-day basis

WORKING LIFE:

  • On a daily basis you will be working across a large office site
  • The main business language spoken in our offices is English. Knowledge of English is essential
  • On occasion you may be required to work weekends or bank holidays, this will be arranged in advance and in accordance with the rota
  • The role will be structured on a shift basis over a 5-day week

  • You keep up to date with industry trends and have direct experience or an interest in facilities management and customer service
  • You are open and have good communication skills
  • You strive for excellence in what you do and share ideas for improvement
  • You are familiar with computer equipment and programs (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • You are adaptable to work to requests and projects that may vary from day to day
