The Security Department Support is a Level 5 position and presents an opportunity to work in a unique environment within Group Operations. You will be part of the Security Team and required to support all Security Office activity. You will provide effective administrative supports and place a strong emphasis on compliance. The role requires constant interaction with the Branch Network and the wider Group in relation to Security issues and incidents. You will be required to engage and manage relationships with external stakeholders, participate in, and support Security Office Projects.

Due to the nature of the role this role is ** fully on-site** with no option to work from home.


Responsibilities:

The uniqueness associated with working in this environment requires flexibility in relation to duties and responsibilities. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Proactively support Security Team response to serious incidents and sensitive investigations.
  • Proactively support and contribute to all functional and operational aspects of the Group Security Office.
  • Support Security Manager develop and implement Bank-wide security policies and supporting tools.
  • Support administration associated with issue of Access Control Cards and ensure SLAs targets are maintained.
  • Support general office administration eg. IPOS ¿invoice.
  • Conduct Regular Security Policy & Procedure compliance checks.
  • Assist with management of identified Risk Controls.
  • Input to the design and implementation of all security related measures to ensure the safeguarding of colleagues and customers as they engage with the Bank.

Requirements:

  • Ordinary Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) with a grade D3/O6/H6 at Ordinary Level in five Leaving Certificate subjects (including English and Maths)
  • Good Level of Technical proficiency to include strong working knowledge of MS Packages ¿ Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to develop/maintain extensive network of relationships within PTSB.
  • Respect and understanding of requirement for confidentiality within Security environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Strong sense of personal security, awareness and integrity.

This is a Permanent role based in PTSB's St Stephens Green - due to the nature of the role this role is fully on-site with no option to work from home.
