Service Advisor

Cork City Ford Centre are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Department. The ideal candidate will play a critical customer facing role for our service department.

Role:

  • Full time Service Advisor
  • Competitive salary and bonus scheme.
  • Full training to be given. 

This role involves the following on a daily basis.

  • Scheduling customer vehicles on a daily basis through telephone/email/ on line bookings
  • Managing the workload of the workshop to ensure that sufficient bookings are made to match the resources available.
  • Meet and greet customers as they drop off their vehicles.
  • Update customers on progress of their repair/ service as required.
  • Listening to any customer needs/concerns prior to repair and capturing those so that relevant technician can investigate any of those concerns.
  • Agree costings and any extra work that maybe required.
  • Processing of invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with workshop controller and Warranty administrator as required.
  • Acting in a professional and courteous way to all customers to reflect the customer focused ethos within the company.

Candidate requirements:

  • Have a courteous, professional and friendly manner to customers and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of Keyloop computer system would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Be highly organised.
  • Full & current driving licence
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to explain technical data in a clear and simple way to customers.
