Senior Speech & Language Therapist – Full Time- Fixed Term – 12 months,

(Paediatrics, CDNT 8, Central Cork)

Horizons is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic full-time Senior Speech & Language Therapist in paediatric services on a fixed term basis. The successful applicant will work within an interdisciplinary team as a member of Children’s Disability Network Team 8, Central Cork.

This post will provide opportunities for the successful candidate to:

• Enhance their existing clinical knowledge of a wide range of disabilities and neurodivergent presentations from both a theoretical and practical perspective.
• Experience close interdisciplinary working, including in the development of resources, delivery of training and provision of individual and small group interventions.
• Collaborate with the child’s wider support system, including their family, school and other support services such as CAMHS, NEPS and acute medical teams.

Applicants must possess the following:

• A BSc in Speech & Language Therapy or its’ equivalent is required.
• CORU registration
• 3 years post qualification experience
• A full clean driving licence and have their own vehicle at the time of application
• Experience supporting children with disabilities and their families.
