35 hour working week

The successful candidate will be based on site in a Special School in the Montenotte area (Cork City).

Cope Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Grade Speech & Language Therapist in paediatric services. The successful applicant will work in a Special School in Montenotte, as a member of a Children’s Disability Network Team.

Applicants must possess the following:

  • A BSc in Speech & Language Therapy or its’ equivalent is required.
  • The successful applicant must be CORU registered
  • Have 3 years post qualification experience
  • Hold a full clean driving licence and have their own vehicle at the time of application
  • Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
  • Experience of working with children with disabilities for a minimum of 1 year is essential

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working with Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC)
  • Experience in the area of Paediatric Dysphagia
