Senior Psychologist
Based in CRC Clontarf Children’s Disability Network Team.
The CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) will be providing intervention to children from the age of 0-18 years, presenting with complex developmental needs requiring inter-disciplinary intervention. Our services are based upon a Family Centered Practice Model in line with Progressing Disability Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team.
We currently have the following vacancy for a permanent contract:
· Senior Psychologist, Clontarf CDNT, Permanent, Full-time, 35 hrs per week
The successful candidate will have the following essential requirements:
· A University Degree or Diploma obtained with first or second class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject
· A recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology
· Three year’s post-qualification experience with a minimum of two years working with children with disabilities, specifically, with children with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
· Experience of completing standardised cognitive assessment with children
· Excellent report writing skills
· Excellent communication, initiative and time management skills
· Flexibility and teamwork skills which are key to this role.
Desirable requirement:
· Experience completing Assessment of Need
· Experience in service delivery planning and development.
· Experience in education and training and supervising others.
· Full driver’s license and access to car.
