The Role:
Almac Pharma Services is seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Operator Grade 1 to join our team at our Charnwood site in Loughborough due to business growth. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including dispensing, blending, granulation, compression, coating, encapsulation, and packaging. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Setting Up and Running Processes: Leading pharmaceutical manufacturing processes such as dispensing, blending, granulation, compression, coating, encapsulation, and packaging.
- Documentation: Complete manufacturing documentation and logbooks in line with ALCOA principles to ensure the quality of the product.
- Cleaning: Clean processing equipment and rooms to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Training Compliance: Ensure your training record is up to date, and you are appropriately trained before starting a manufacture.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with manufacturing instructions, completing documentation to a high standard and performing in-process checks to maintain the quality of the product.
Requirements:
- Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up employment in the UK.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above in English Language, Maths, and Science.
- Proven experience of working well within teams.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing role or within the pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
Working Hours:
- Day shift: 08:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday
- Rotating early/late shift pattern: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00, Monday to Friday
Note: successful candidates may be expected to work changing shift patterns, so that the department maintains the flexibility to meet our clients project demands. It is a condition of your employment that you can fulfil this requirement of the role.
