Senior Medical Social Worker

• 1.0WTE (35 hours)
• Indefinite Duration contract
• H.S.E. funded
• Based in Magheramore, Co. Wicklow
• Initially based in the Community Palliative Care Team

To provide a comprehensive social work service as part of a multi-disciplinary team, where the focus is on the psychosocial aspects of patient and family care, bereavement support and counselling.

Essential Requirements:

• National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW) or equivalent
• Registration as a Social Worker with CORU
• Full driver licence
• Five years post qualification relevant experience
• Experience in the area of bereavement and loss
• Intermediate level IT skills
