Job Title: Senior H.R. Generalist / Manager

Location: Clondalkin Dublin 22

Excellent opportunity to develop & grow with the leading supplier of critical power solutions to industry in Ireland and Europe.

The company has been in operation for over 35 years and employees 270 full time staff at locations in Clondalkin and Cherry Orchard.

The role will report into senior management and is a permanent position. While mainly office based there will be a need to visit the 4 locations in Dublin.

Main Function:

  • Roll out HR policy and practice within the organisation.
  • Ensure best management practices are adapted by line Managers.
  • Provide guidance and support to Managers and employees to achieve optimum potential.
  • Implement effective People policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislation.

Terms and Benefits:

  • 39 hours per week - Mon – Friday
  • Open to some flexibility of hours.
  • Early finish on Fridays
  • Working on Site (Dublin 22 – 8 minutes from M 50)
  • Competitive Salary – €65,000.00 Depending on relative Management experience) Paid Weekly
  • 22 days annual leave – Closed bank holidays

You will be responsible for:

  • Develop systems conducive to building strong working relationships between management and employees
  • To support line managers and their teams on all aspects of H.R.
  • Development and ongoing monitoring of H.R. policies, processes and procedures that will promote optimum management and employee satisfaction in compliance with all relevant legislation
  • Manage all employee issues including dispute resolutions, grievances, absence, etc
  • To manage and schedule HR procedures as per the company Quality Management System.
  • Ensure that personnel files & records are up to date & accurate
  • Ensure G.D.P.R. compliance
  • To manage training and certification compliance of employees
  • To manage the development and implementation of internal and external training in compliance with company Q.M.S. and external certification bodies
  • Manage the company recruitment processes to incl. sourcing, interviewing and selection of candidates in line with Company H.R. planning & strategy
  • Manage on boarding of new employees including HR inductions
  • To liaise with H & S manager in compliance efforts.
  • To support management with any other H.R. related issues.

Experience, Skills & Education

  • Degree level qualification
  • (CIPD accredited) essential
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar HR role.
  • Strong experience in Employee Relations
  • Excellent current knowledge of Employment Law
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage compliance processes and records.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Have a consistent work methodology with attention to detail.
  • Team player, should be flexible, have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
