Senior Duty Officer

The Senior Duty Officer will be part of the ALPHA team who provide daily duty management at Titanic Belfast. This is a critical team as they oversee daily operations within the building ensuring all runs smoothly. Key areas of focus are Health and Safety, efficient operations, building and staff presentation, communications between staff and with visitors and ultimately the visitor’s experience. This team are responsible for delivering standards consistent with maintaining operational excellence, efficiency and exceptional service, for which Titanic Belfast is renown.
With a strong focus on leadership, crisis management, and strategic planning, the Senior Duty Officer will ensure smooth daily operations while continuously enhancing the visitor experience. They play a vital role in maintaining efficiency, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring all departments work seamlessly together. Through proactive management and a commitment to excellence, they help to drive the success of Titanic Belfast’s guest-facing operations, ensuring a world-class experience for every visitor.
While carrying out the duty management role, they will liaise with all departments to ensure they are fully aware and up to date on planned events and happenings within the building, the external plaza area (including the Eastyard/Coach Parking) and SS Nomadic. They will be responsible for reacting to emergencies, activating evac protocols and generally managing the business during their duty shift.
