Job Title: Senior Bartender

Description of Business:

The Royal Meath Pub (commonly referred to as The Royal) located in the heart of Navan is looking for a Senior Bartender. With its live music sessions, it guarantees that extra bit of craic.

This is a unique role for an ambitious business-oriented person, there is great potential with this position as it’s with a view to running the business when the time is right.

The successful candidate must be innovative, have experience in all facets of the business from stock taking, staff training, orders, and rosters.

Reporting to: Proprietor

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a busy bar to deliver a high standard of customer service
• Stock quality control, event management, party, and music bookings
• Responsibility of managing and training staff, ensuring accurate staff levels
• Ensuring all cash, change, float and till procedures are carried out accurately
• Preparing the bar for service
• Providing a visible presence ensuring all customer requests are managed

Essential Key Requirements:

• Bar experience required

• Excellent Customer service

Remuneration

The salary will be discussed with the successful candidate relevant to their experience.
