Seasonal Waiting Staff
Portmarnock Golf Club is looking for the right candidate to join the Catering team for a number of full and part time positions.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate, who is focused on delivering a high level of service to customers in one of the most prestigious Golf Club's in Ireland. If you feel you have the right skill set to join an ambitious team and grow your career in this industry, please read on for some of the key responsibilities within these positions that are currently available.
Your duties will include the following (this list is not exhaustive):
- Working alongside other members of the Bar and Catering team to ensure a high quality of service is provided to all guests during their use of the dining facilities
- Greeting guests as they arrive and providing them with a menu and details of the specials
- Taking orders correctly and issuing them to the kitchen, noting any special requirements
- Check food for quality and presentation before serving to guest
- Ensuring an excellent service is provided for guests for the duration of their visit
- Clearing tables in a prompt manner and ensuring the dining facilities are clean and tidy at all times
- Ensuring orders are correctly recorded on the till and the bills are settled correctly before guests have departed
- Complete side duties as required including polishing cutlery, glasses, restaurant set-up, stocking beverage supplies and filling condiments
- Ensuring you are able to use the till system and credit card machine correctly and efficiently and be able to reconcile the till at the end of each day
- Closing the Clubhouse and ensuring all doors and windows are locked and ensuring the alarm has been activated before the last person has left the Clubhouse
- Comply with Health & Safety Regulations and Procedures and any training provided by the Club thereon
