SAP Solution Manager, Procurement

About The Role

We are looking for a SAP Solution Manager – Procurement to join our team. In this role, you will be part of our Global SAP Team, working to deploy and enhance our global template across the world. You will collaborate with the Connected Procurement Portfolio team within the Digital Services Integrated Operations Platforms Team.

Kerry operates a Hybrid working policy, candidates will be required to work from our offices in Naas each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the role of subject matter expert for your area of responsibility.
  • Actively own, promote and improve the Connected Procurement technical solution and associated processes for your area. This opportunity will focus on Procure to Pay processes within the Procurement solution landscape, including SAP and Coupa.
  • Contribute to global reference group for Connected Procurement.
  • Coordination & management of the application maintenance (AM) support process, including service requests, incident reviews and minor enhancements.
  • Coordination, management, and closure of program tickets for your area.
  • Coordination, management & approval of transport releases through the test landscape.
  • Firefighter access approvals as delegate.
  • Generation of status reporting for your area as appropriate – weekly and monthly status meetings, project reporting etc
  • Prepare functional specifications for RICEFWs (reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, forms, and workflows) and peer review as appropriate.
  • Support the development and implementation of robust integration between SAP and external systems used within the procurement systems landscape primarily Coupa.
  • Lead and support deployments and projects on masterplan using programme disciplines and steps (testing, BST, COR, Go-live and PGLS).

  • Help to design, build, test and deploy the Connected Procurement solution for Procurement by working closely with other team members and consulting partners.
  • Support standard upgrades to SAP and scheduled release upgrades to Coupa.
  • Prepare for and partake in design confirmation on future enhancements to the Global template.
  • Lead the relevant activities for your area in site preparation, cut-over, and post-go live support.
  • Ensure release documentation is prepared to a standard for their area.
  • Validate training material developed by the training team.
  • Lead a team of analysts working as part of the Procurement team to deliver SAP and Coupa deployments and enhancements.
  • Provide input into goal setting and development plans for team members.
  • Provide input into resource planning for the Procurement team.
  • Develop and maintain ICT business continuity planning (BCP) plans.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in ICT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, or other related discipline
  • Strong senior level experience in a similar role and environment.
  • Previous experience with SAP, either in a business or ICT role, with experience in the modules Purchasing/MM is essential.
  • Experience in developing and implementing complex integrations with SAP and other procurement solutions.
  • Coupa experience preferrable but not essential.
  • Experience in an ERP deployment project lifecycle including design, configuration, test, data conversion and implementation of the technical aspects of the solution.
  • Experience in operational procurement is a plus but not a necessary requisite.
  • Prior experience of working with users in a Manufacturing environment would be a plus.
  • Experience in the preparation of process design workshops and documents.
  • Experience in the preparation of functional design documents and test scripts.
