Maxi Zoo Ireland are driven by the desire to make the life of pets and pets owners simpler, better and happier. To achieve this, we are currently recruiting for a Part Time Sales Assistant for our Ballincollig store.

What you will do:

Customer Engagement – Provide exceptional customer service by offering knowledgeable guidance on products, fostering positive interactions to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty while effectively promoting all Fressnapf|Maxi Zoo products.

Brand Integrity - Achieve targets keeping the pets needs at the forefront of everything we do. Ensuring that the animals entrusted to us are well cared for at all times, and that the welfare of the animal comes first.

Merchandise and Inventory - Curate an enticing shopping experience for all pet parents with impeccably stocked shelves withfull product availability on the shelves in order to minimise inventory discrepancies, maintain high inventory quality.

Personal Development - Proactively engage in personal and professional development, in consultation with the store manager, while adhering to specified staff training timelines.

What you will bring:

Flexibility to work across the week and need to be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends and national public holidays

Strong communication skills and open behaviour towards customers

Friendly and personable demeanour

Joy and fun in selling

Passion for animals

Previous experience in similar environment is desirable
