Overview

The Head Plan are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistants to join our team at the Kildare Village pop-up store. Retail Assistants will support the Store Supervisor and Store Manager in delivering excellent customer service, managing product displays, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

We are looking to hire immediately, and the store will be open until mid-January.

Starting a personal development journey for the first time can be confusing, we are passionate about providing support and advice to our customers to ensure they are getting the right product to suit their needs and goals. That is where you come in. We are a small, passionate, fast-growing team and we want you to be part of this movement we are creating.

Responsibilities

Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Provide detailed product information and recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

Sales and Merchandising:

• Maintain the store's visual appearance by setting up displays, arranging products, and keeping the store tidy.
• Assist in restocking shelves, pricing products, and managing inventory levels.
• Support promotional activities and help implement merchandising strategies to increase sales.
• Assist in processing customer transactions, including cash handling and using POS systems.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Store Supervisor and Store Manager to ensure smooth store operations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment.
• Be proactive in supporting colleagues and stepping in where needed.

General Duties:

• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Supervisor or Store Manager.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for helping customers.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Desired:

• Knowledge of wellness or personal development products is a plus.
• Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
