Permanent Part Time 70 hour per fortnight Contact

We are looking for dynamic leaders to support people with intellectual disability to achieve their life goals, dreams and aspirations. Person Specification

  • The ability to lead and support teams keeping individuals at the centre of service provision at all times by promoting self-determination and self-direction.
  • Demonstrate an ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Lead and inspire teams to deliver exceptional care and support within our residential services.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive culture where residents feel empowered and valued within their home and local community.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with regard to National Regulations.
  • Engage with the community and spearhead initiatives that enhance residents’ experiences.
  • Manage resources efficiently, contributing to both resident satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Communicate effectively with the individuals we support, their families and people important in each individuals’ life.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative as well as supporting colleagues within a Team.
  • Support the maintenance of up to date and accurate recording to ensure and demonstrate a high standard of care and support to each resident.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills including; planning, data management, IT and organisational skills.
  • Have a robust knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards and statutory requirements and their responsibilities as a Person In Charge.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills for the role:

  • Have Qualification appropriate to the role e.g. Nursing, Social Care, other relevant qualification.
  • 3 years’ supervisory/managerial experience qualifying them to take on the role of PIC within intellectual disability services.
  • Completed a Management Course.
  • Full current manual driving licence to drive in Ireland.
  • Participation in the regional On-call roster.
  • Suitability as outlined above.

Candidate should note that as part of this role they will be required to travel between locations
