Reservations Office Manager
Park Inn by Radisson, Shannon Airport are seeking an experienced Reservations Office Manager with a strong knowledge of property management systems.
The successful candidate will primarily manage the reservations function of the Hotel to maximise revenue and increase guest satisfaction by ensuring all reservations are processed in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
- Ideally to have hotel reservations experience having worked with Radisson Property Management System – EMMA.
- Manage rooms reservations processes for the hotel. For both individual, group and contracted corporate bookings.
- Manage Meeting room enquiries, update function sheets and communicate requirements to relevant departments including set up and catering.
- Communicate new rate plans and promotions to the team.
- Assisting in all aspects of the Reservations function daily.
- Assist with meeting and exceeding budgeted targets and be directly involved with room sales.
- Ensure the constant delivery of excellent guest and customer service.
- Ensure all email traffic is monitored and reservations appropriately recorded and checked – dates, price, market segmentation, sources etc.
- Manage no-show and cancelled reservations and process charges according to hotel policy.
- Work closely with the sales team to help identify leads and convert leads to confirmed bookings.
- Liaise with the front office team, General Manager and Operations Manager to maximise room revenue. Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reporting.
- Provide details of hotel facilities and pricing information. Impeccable and thorough billing skills.
- Manage group bookings, managing cut off dates, deposits and contracts.
- To oversee the effective implementation of all SOPs and procedures for Reservations, carrying out regular checks and communicate with team members.
- To liaise with Operations Manager for any requests/queries regarding larger business enquiries.
- To complete a Room Pace Report each Monday and Friday and review daily pick up reports, adjusting rates where applicable.
- To cover Reception Shifts, including breaks when required.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the wider management team within the hotel.
Skills/Experience required:
- Experience in a similar role including Hotel Receptionist
- Exhibit excellent knowledge of customer service.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Must be organised and efficient.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Flexibility and a proactive approach is a must in this role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to show a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times.
