Relief Staff Nurses

Horizons is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Relief/Part TimeStaff Nurses to support people with intellectual disability and/or autism.

Application Criteria:

• Possess a relevant third level qualification in Nursing, be on the live register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
• Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
• Good Standard of verbal and written English.
• Have very good interpersonal skills and the flexibility to meet the changing needs of the people Horizons supports are essential requirements.
• Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism is an advantage.
• Experience of working in a care-delivery capacity and have awareness of HIQA.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Have proficent IT Skills
• Be flexibile and a team player
• Have a positive attitude.
• Willing to embrace change and is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning throughout the service.
• Committed to the principles of rights-based, person-centred services.
• A full clean driving license is desirable.
