Our Buying Teams are a key element to our continued success and we currently have a vacancy for a Quality Manager in our Fresh Food sites. Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer standards are maintained and suppliers adhere to Company quality requirements.
  • Assist in compiling in-house and finished product specifications and procedures.
  • Reviewing incoming product for quality as per specification and recording the relevant documentation.
  • Liaising with suppliers daily and internal stakeholders, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Ensuring all quality controls are adhered to and actioning any queries
  • Responsible for promoting and protecting quality standards.
  • Implement and monitor hygiene practices. Ensuring the site is maintained at the highest level of hygiene standards.
  • Preparation for customer visits and assisting with any audits
  • Documenting all processes and keeping an accurate record of data.
  • Advise stakeholders/team members on technical queries.

Experience/Requirements

  • High level of dedication, flexibility and commitment.
  • Strong technical skills are essential.
  • Possess skills to motivate and influence team members.
  • Motivated and organised with a flair for ensuring others in the management team support the continuing growth and development of Quality Product Supply for continued Company growth.
  • Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
  • Flexibility; shift work, weekends and/or out of hours support.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. With the ability to liaise with all members of staff across different levels
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a high attention to detail.
  • Background and practical knowledge of Food Hygiene, Food Safety, HACCP, BRC, Bord Bia and related Quality systems in the food industry would be a distinct advantage.
  • Previous work experience in a fresh produce is essential.
