Quality Coordinator
Job Description
The role supports and assists in the maintenance and improvement of the departments system SharePoint site ensuring documents are reviewed and readily available to the various teams. This role provides training to the wider department and other stakeholders on the use of the management system tools. The Quality Co-ordinator undertakes regular audits of the management system to assure its ongoing compliance with standards and continuous improvement expectations and objectives.
Responsibilities- Delivery of assigned management system activities across Infrastructure function to maintain compliance with ISO Standards.
- Support infrastructure’s delivery across the capital investment portfolio (CIP) of works including the review and acceptance of contractor and consultant quality management plans, inspection plans and other relevant quality documentation.
- Develop, control and maintain management system documentation.
- Providing training and guidance on the infrastructure management system, to infrastructure team and key stakeholders of the business.
- Perform audits of management system processes and procedures and provide reports detailing findings and recommendations for management review and track the status of rectification actions to close out.
- Review audit findings both internal and external.
- Analyse and develop high quality compliance reports and performance metrics.
- Support the coordination of the certification process for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 55001:2014 and ISO 50001:2018 and others as required.
- Foster and encourage a best practice and improvement across the organisation.
- Lead and support projects as required to include stakeholder management and engagement.
- Represent the department at forums, working groups, etc as required.
- Will be required to work cross functionally across the entire Infrastructure Quality Team remit to deliver organisational and sectional priorities.
- Perform additional departmental tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- 3rd Level Qualification in Quality Management or similar discipline.
- Formal management system auditing qualification (Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor).
- 3 + years’ experience in a similar role working with ISO management systems in a construction/engineering environment.
- Knowledge of international management system standards ISO 9001:2015; ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 55001:2014 and ISO 50001:2018.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications

- Methodical, analytical and focused approach to work is required.
- Proved ability to communicate, both verbal and written and ability to draft and assist in the development of technical documents.
- Act on own initiative and proactively managing competing demands and multi-task effectively.
- Must be able work collaboratively, with a range of colleagues in the wider organisation, as well as with external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work in a challenging environment both on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and people management skills.
