Quality Assurance Sensory & Development Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance team. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for co ordinating and participating in all sensory taste panels for both food and near food products, ensuring all new products comply with our nutrition policy, participating in developing and reformulating products, recording necessary information in sensory database and providing feedback to suppliers.

What you'll do

Coordination and completion of tasks as per the QA manual such as

  • Co ordinating and participating in all internal taste panels for food and near food products including purchasing of all products
  • Providing feedback to suppliers to ensure non conformances are closed out
  • Organising external sensory analysis panels with service providers and ensuring reports are received on time
  • Processing sensory analysis reports
  • Assisting the Buying Team with developing new products
  • Identifying products suitable for salt and sugar reduction and working on reformulations with the Buying team and suppliers
  • Ensuring all products comply with the Lidl Health and Nutrition Policy
  • Actioning product withdrawals
  • Processing sensory analysis invoices for payment
  • Managing supplier contacts
  • Processing customer complaints
  • Completion of projects assigned to the Quality Assurance department

What you'll need

  • Third-level degree in a relevant discipline is required (i.e. Food Science, Quality Management, Science)
  • Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent administration skills with attention to detail
  • Works well under pressure
  • Confident and excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Full clean driving licence essential
  • Conversational German is beneficial but not essential

  • €35,500 rising to €48,000 after 3 years
