Purchasing Organisation Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Purchasing Organisation Administrator to join our Purchasing Organisation team. The Purchasing Organisation Administrator will be responsible for conducting internal audits and preparing reports. We are looking for someone who can effectively communicate with internal and external parties in a positive and professional manner while working under pressure and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. The Purchasing Organisation Administrator will report directly to the Head of Purchasing Administration.
What you'll do
- Product and supplier database checks and sign-offs
- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports for internal departments and our international counterparts in Germany
- Managing incoming calls and emails ensuring they are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner
- Coordinating between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative and operational problems
- Assisting line manager and team members with ad hoc administration duties and projects
- Supporting, investigating and resolving supplier invoice differences, outstanding payments and billings.
What you'll need
- Ensure work is carried out and completed in a controlled, compliant, timely and accurate manner with emphasis on attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organisational, analytical and data management skills
- Experience with process development and workflows and advantage
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in MS office (in particular Excel)
- German is an advantage but not essential
What you'll receive
Through our salary system, we ensure pay equality across all positions at Lidl
- €35,500 rising to €48,000 after 3 years
- 20 days holidays per annum rising to 25 days after 2 years
