We are currently seeking a highly motivated Project Officer to join our team.
Contract Type: Specified Purpose Contract. (Minimum Contract term – one year).
Contract Hours: 22.5 Hours Per Week
Salary Scale: The current salary scale for this post is €32,269 – €49,298 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments).
Purpose of the Post:
The purpose of the role is to administer a diverse range of regulatory/compliance projects
across Enable Ireland Services and Corporate Divisions.
Overview of Duties & Responsibilities
- Fulfil required designated project initiatives
- Conduct paper-based research and complete administration processes for designated Committees/Managers on new regulations/legislation, as they arise
- Fulfil administrative compliance in relation to:
1) Support services required for the Data Protection & Compliance Officer functions
2) Policy Programme coordination
3) Administrative support required to the:
• HIQA Internal Inspectorate and National HIQA team
• Risk, Health & Safety functions
• National training function
• HR & Corporate Affairs Department
The successful candidate will have:
Essential Criteria:
- A relevant qualification in administration or other areas relevant to the role.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a similar office environment.
- Proficient experience in a range of IT software packages (e.g., Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Adobe, Paint etc.) including database management, a proven ability to adapt to changing computer technology, be a self-starter who is used to taking ownership with the ability to drive workload and complete tasks in a timely manner in a high standard.

Desirable Criteria:
- ECDL or similar.
- Knowledge and understanding of current issues in the field of disability services.
- Experience of working in a healthcare/regulatory setting/working in realm of Health & Safety/regulatory environment/research.
- Experience in policy/document writing.
- Familiar in use of a quality/auditing system in previous employment.
- Experience generating webinars via Teams/other virtual platform.
- Experience using Visio/Canva and/or other similar software packages.
- Experience in generating easy read/accessible documents/files.
- Full cleaning driving licence and access to their own transport.
