The successful candidate will be tasked with project management and implementation of the projects as set out by the eHealth Director or Manager nominated by the eHealth Director in the region. A primary focus of the role will be Change Management, Business Continuity, Cyber Security project management and implementation in the region:
- To support and enable the implementation of organisational goals and objectives
- Perform local audits, assessments and implementation of recommendations as set out by eHealth Director, national Technology and Transformation, Health Authorities and Regulators
- Developing and implementing local processes and procedures to ensure compliance and performance in line with Government of Ireland and National HSE Technology and Transformation strategies, guidelines and recommendations
- Locally support the implementation and enablement of compliance with national frameworks, EU and National Regulations, Health Authorities and Regulators
- Locally support the implementation of national Digital for Care, Clinical, Acute, Integrated Care, Community programmes, Regulatory Frameworks, Health Authority and Regulatory Audit Reports and Recommendations
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify cyber, security and compliance gaps and implement Business Continuity, Cyber and Security education, training, operational standards and accreditation, policies and procedures, maturity planning in line with national guidelines and regulatory frameworks in the Region.
- Cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to define their requirements and deliver people, process and technology solutions.
- Contributing to the development and execution of knowledge and training programs to deliver stabilisation, business continuity and cyber security operational competency across the Region
The Grade VII Project Manager will have a lead role in safeguarding the region's digital assets and data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in technical business continuity and cyber security, advanced technical skills, and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members and colleagues. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in protecting sensitive data and infrastructure from evolving cyber threats and AI as part of the eHealth Director/ Assistant National Director’s office.
The post will play a key role in managing the region’s security operations programme including, but not limited to, the acquisition and oversight of endpoint protection solutions, mobile security requirements, internet proxy, filter and reporting services, cross platform encryption solutions and training.
The post will facilitate the introduction and change associated with new IT systems and will assist in supporting the existing IT systems, both nationally and regionally within our applicable settings.
