The aim of the Business Development department is to optimise the efficient interaction of people, processes and technology & build a pipeline of external Strategic Partners that support the Lidl brand and drive profit.
We are seeking an innovative, tech-savvy and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for the delivery of exciting, high impact projects and strategic partnerships from concept to deployment.
The Business Development Project Manager reports to the Strategic Partnerships Manager.
What you'll do
- Project management of key strategic national and international projects from concept to deployment in consultation with the Project Management Office
- Execution of all projects within agreed timelines, combining the highest quality with the best possible value
- Management of all key stakeholders both internal and external to ensure long term project success
- Management of project packages into daily business
- Monitoring and reporting on all relevant project and department KPIs
- Completion of regular market research and competitor analysis to ensure awareness of the latest trends, technologies and opportunities that will support long term, sustainable business growth aligned to Lidl’s brand and core values
- Identification of opportunities for improvement in existing department processes and work practices
- Support the Strategic Partnerships Manager with departmental tasks as required
What you'll need
- 2 years project management experience
- 3rd level qualification desirable
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently but also part of a team
- Innovative & adaptable
- Able to work under pressure and within tight timelines
- Strong analytical skills
- Self- motivated, proactive, takes initiative
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proven ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines and multi-task
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Full clean driver’s license essential
- Return on Investment mentality
