Project Administrator - Grade IV

(Specified Purpose, Full time)

Expressions of interest are invited for the above post from suitably qualified persons.

The Project Administrator will play a vital administration support role in the successful execution of the HRIS system upgrade project. Working closely with the project team, the post holder will manage essential administrative and documentation tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This includes organising project files, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to handle multiple tasks while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive project information. This role is pivotal in ensuring the project team stays on track and focused on delivering the system upgrade effectively.

Requirements:

  • QQI qualification in Office Administration or equivalent.
  • Suitable significant experience may be treated as a substitute for a relevant qualification.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Experience supporting committees/groups with coordinating and recording meetings/events.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and network with all levels of stakeholders in the Organisation.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and administration skills; with process focused experience.
  • Strong team working skills with the ability to collaborate and build effective working relationship with others.
  • Results orientated with capacity for responsibility, accountability and individual initiative.
  • Ability to process work professionally and efficiently in a busy, fast paced and dynamic work environment.
  • This role requires an organised and methodical person with particular attention to detail.

The appointment is specified purpose for the duration of the HRIS upgrade project implementation, full-time, and in a pensionable capacity. Remuneration is in accordance with the salary scale approved by the Department of Health.
