A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
Programme Manager
37 hours per week
Scale PO5, SCP 40-43 Currently £49,764 - £52,805.
Location: The location of this post will be confirmed upon appointment and flexibility to be based across the Borough will be required.
Main Purpose of Job:
This role sits within the newly created Corporate & Support Services Directorate, and you will be working across the three areas of Citizen Focus, Business Support and Finance to support the transformation of Mid & East Antrim Borough Council. You will be responsible for collaborating with our delivery teams and stakeholders to support delivery of the Council’s corporate functions and processes and support adherence to our policy and legislative duties. Your role will include responsibility for ensuring organisation wide delivery of programmes across a range of functions as appropriate.Your role will include ensuring processes are followed, deadlines are met, processing information and data, report writing, resolving issues, and managing relationships. You will attend events and meet with stakeholders and partners from across local government and beyond to support the achievement of Council priorities. You will be expected to be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs and requirements of the organisation and duties and responsibilities may vary without changing the purpose of the job or level of responsibility.
