Programme Lifecycle Manager
Purpose of Position:
This search process seeks to find an excellent administrative manager who will support the Director of Quality by leading NCIs commitment to manage NCI’s academic programme lifecycle management structure (programme design, approval, delivery, monitoring and review), deliver on NCI quality assurance and enhancement commitments and facilitate evidence-based decision making at the academic programme level.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing administrative processes and procedures and will have experience of Quality Assurance and Enhancement policies and processes, particularly, but not exclusively those driven by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) policies, criteria and QA guidelines.
The successful candidate will work with academic and professional colleagues in NCI to manage QA and enhancement processes, including the provision, review and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to demonstrate academic programme relevance, currency, academic quality and success. The role ensures that all our QQI validated academic programmes comply with QQI and NCI requirements while also meeting the needs, vision and strategic priorities of NCI and our key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage NCI’s Programme Lifecycle Management (PLM) structure, ensuring policy and procedures work effectively in support of high-quality programme development, validation, monitoring and review
- Ensure accuracy in qualitative and quantitative information and data for all new and existing programmes to demonstrate relevance, currency and compliance with stakeholder needs and NCI/QQI validation and revalidation criteria.
- Manage NCI’s annual and cyclical programmatic monitoring and review processes and the cyclical revalidation schedule
- Manage the Quality review process for NCI professional/administrative Support services.
- Provide key support for QA and curriculum systems upgrade and integration projects, as required.
- Contribute to NCI’s Management Information Systems reporting project.
- Provide reports on academic programme-related Quality and Standards and programme performance matters, to inform decision making by NCIs Executive and relevant sub-groups and the Academic Council and relevant sub-committees.
- Make progress on other QIE-related workstreams or projects, as directed.
Mandatory experience and Attributes:
- An Honours Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent)
- A minimum of five years of experience implementing quality assurance and enhancement activities, ideally within a Further or Higher Education environment.
- Experience of reviewing and demonstrating academic programme and/or institutional alignment with accreditation and/or academic validation requirements and regulations.
- Experience of compiling and analysing quantitative datasets across stated KPIs/other metrics
- Experience in providing analysis and drafting reports to inform decision-making at a programme, school and/or institutional level.
- Experience of maintaining accuracy and integrity in data management processes (qualitative and quantitative) and applying data governance controls.
- Proven ability to build trust, effective partnerships and collaborate with a range of colleagues internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to meet fixed internal and external submission requirements and submission deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable:
- A postgraduate qualification with elements of Business/Data analytics or Business Intelligence.
Salary:
€53,836 - €75,508 Manager Salary Band
Contract:
Full Time 18 month contract
Annual Leave:
27 Days per annum

Full-time, 35 hours per week

Shortlisting
HR draft up the shortlisting documents and provide the initial screening to determine if a person meets the essential criteria of the competition. A shortlisting panel is generally made up of two senior grade staff members from the relevant department for which the role is being recruited.
Sharing of your data
Where you have been successfully shortlisted for a post, each interview panel member will be furnished with a copy of the relevant information of those who will be attending interview in order that they can review applications in advance of the interview process. All such information will be returned to NCI and shredded following the competition process. Some of the interview panel will be external interviewers, who are not employees of NCI but are engaged for the purpose and are strictly subject to the rules and policies of the College.
Access

Erasure
