Role OverviewWe're seeking a proactive Production Orders Administrator to reinforce our Operations team. This role centres on ensuring smooth production order execution through our network of manufacturing partners, identifying and addressing potential issues in real-time. You will play a crucial role in directly communicating with customers and providers to resolve challenges, fostering understanding, and keeping production on track.

Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Monitor and document production orders in CRM and ERP systems, ensuring all stages proceed smoothly.
  • Supplier Coordination: Engage production partners from our database, optimising the production process.
  • Communication & Problem-Solving: Tackle issues directly with customers and suppliers over the phone or in written communication, demonstrating thorough understanding and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Process Support: Oversee deadlines, coordinate logistics, and conduct quality control on completed products.
  • Financial Tracking: Follow up on payment statuses, liaising directly with customers when needed.
  • Autonomous Issue Management: Identify and resolve atypical problems, maintain calm under pressure, and make sound decisions without immediate supervision.

A successful candidate:

  • Proficiency in English: Fluent in spoken and written English, capable of handling complex conversations with UK-based customers and international partners.
  • Relevant Experience: 1+ years in procurement, logistics, or order management, preferably with engineering orders and transactional IT systems for automated processes.
  • Self-Sufficiency & Problem-Solving Aptitude: Enthusiastic about learning and understanding each situation, thinking beyond templates, and addressing unique customer needs.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Capable of maintaining composure during high-stress situations and making thoughtful decisions independently.
  • Organised & Detail-Oriented: Able to streamline tasks, follow detailed processes, and adapt work for ongoing automation efforts.
  • Flexible & Available: Willing to address urgent issues beyond standard hours (paid overtime), contributing to a fast-paced and adaptive team environment.

Working conditions:

  • Remote full-time job.
  • Contract with an IE (Individual Entrepreneur). Payments once a month.
  • Fixed rate depending on the career level.
