About the role: 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and driven individual. The ideal candidate for this role will have 3+ years of food production management experience, strong project management skills and ability to coach and motivate employees.

In an extremely fast paced environment, our Production Manager will have extremely strong communication skills and exceptional team work ethos.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production of meals, ensuring production, performance and quality standards are consistently met within required timeframe.
  • Manage activities within production to make sure deadlines are reached.
  • Resolve problems concerning inventory and production systems.
  • Assist in the line management, development and motivation of the evening shift Production Operatives.
  • Accountable on shift for the production’s performance against agreed targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) ensuring continuous improvement across all key operational metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Complete any reasonable tasks and duties that may arise.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years relevant supervisory or manager role in the food production industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Positive, can-do, resilient and flexible attitude.
  • Solid understanding and enforcement of Health & Safety policies.
  • HACCP trained.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with focus on delivery high-quality school meals.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be willing to commit to a 3 pm to midnight shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €40,000.00 - €50,000.00 per year, variable based on experience

Schedule: Saturday to Wednesday from 3 to midnight shift.
