We currently have a vacancy for a Product Sales Specialist based in Mallow, Co. Cork.

As a Product Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in increasing product sales and supporting a dedicated customer group, offering technical assistance, and ensuring a first-class customer experience. 

This position involves actively managing a personal sales pipeline, building strong relationships through regular on-farm visits, and confidently presenting product solutions that deliver real value to farmers. 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Customer Support: Serve as the primary support for a dedicated customer group, addressing their queries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Sales Target Achievement: Take ownership of achieving sales targets by actively engaging in persuasive sales discussions and effectively presenting product offerings to potential customers. Additionally, you may be involved in collaborating with the marketing team to support various promotional activities and campaigns.

Agricultural Shows Participation: Represent the company at agricultural shows, showcasing products, and interacting with potential customers to generate leads and promote sales.

Technical and Agricultural Expertise: Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and rapidly develop expertise in the technical aspects of our product offerings.

Collaboration with Development and Support Teams: Work closely with development teams and technical support, providing regular feedback and guidance to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

Flexibility: Display high adaptability and flexibility in managing working hours to accommodate customer needs and effectively support the team.

Candidate Attributes

  • Candidates with 2+ years of agricultural sales experience will have a distinct advantage. 
  • A strong drive and passion for sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences 
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative 
  • Willingness to engage in internal agricultural and sales training 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • A strong working knowledge of the dairy and beef industries is essential
