Community National Schools (CNS) are publicly funded, publicly managed multi-denominational schools that welcome all children from the local communities they serve.

South City CNS is under the patronage of City of Dublin ETB and is a 14-teacher school, with a current enrollment of 162 students. The school is a multi-denominational, co-educational school underpinned by the core values of Excellence in Education, Care, Equality, Community and Respect.

To qualify for appointment candidates must have:

• Full Teaching Council Registration under Route 1 (Primary)

Applicants will be assessed at interview based on the evidence provided of their skills, knowledge and competencies across each of the areas listed below which comprise the key responsibilities of the role.

• Learner outcomes
• Learner experiences
• Teacher’s individual practice
• Teacher’s collective / collaborative practice
