Purpose

In this role, you will implement the Bord Bia PCF plans, by building client relationships that are credible and valued, developing a holistic understanding of the business needs, and influencing internally to deliver the necessary support.

What you’ll do

  • Provide project support to the PCF team as directed by the Senior PCF Manager and client support to our client base as per segmentation, by proactive engagement and liaison through various means, virtual meetings, onsite visits and emails

  • Develop a deep understanding of the client business, including identifying key challenges / opportunities facing the business; engaging with clients through formal and, regular check-ins; capturing and sharing key actions and outputs with appropriate colleagues on CRM

  • Use the One Bord Bia client plan template and the client engagement model to co-create an annual plan, including identifying and co-ordinating the delivery of the appropriate services available to them from across Bord Bia.

  • Support the PCF and Events Activation teams to ensure effective and commercially focused participation at trade fairs for PCF clients through appropriate recruitment, coordinating pre show supports such as workshops and 1:1 supports, coordinating trade engagement with overseas offices and post-show follow up.

  • Promote the understanding of relevant Bord Bia supports and services with clients and encourage their participation, through to supporting the PCF, GBD and capability teams to deliver relevant supports by ensuring tight clear client informed briefs are captured and managed through to delivery.

  • Support the PCF and Insights team deliver insight, and market intelligence projects by ensuring clear briefs, proactive engagement to the project end, inclusive of client engagement as needed and ensuring consumer foods team consulted.

  • Produce high calibre sector commentary for trade media articles, and internal and external briefings through well researched and presented documentation on relevant issues.

  • Implement projects/event and initiates with consumer food clients as relevant such as Brexit supports, grants, workshops, talent academy.

  • Manage assigned budgets in accordance with One Bord Bia procedures

  • Embed adherence to the One Bord Bia Operating Model

    • Irish food and drink industry

    • Retail, manufacturing and foodservice landscape domestic and overseas

    • Commercial functioning of food businesses.
