Placement Officer

Permanent - 35 hours per week
£23,505 per annum
Job Purpose:
Bryson Energy through its Training and Employment team deliver a range of Vocational Training and employability programmes to young people and the unemployed. The Placement Officer will be responsible for securing work placements and world of work activities through employer engagement for participants on the Skills for Life and Work programme.
Essential Criteria:
Educated to degree level including a minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths
Working knowledge of current training & employment programmes
Minimim of 1 year experience working with young people
Minimum of 2 years’ experience of strategic engagement with employers
Minimum of 1 year in a Careers Information Advice and Guidance role
A valid full driving license and access to transport
Desirable Criteria:
Youth work, Counselling, Mentoring qualification
