Hayes Mechanical and Engineering are looking for motivated individuals to join our Apprenticeship Program as Pipefitter or Metal Fabricator Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in starting a career in the mechanical and engineering trades. You will receive hands-on training while learning from experienced professionals, with the potential to grow into a fully qualified Pipefitter or Metal Fabricator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in installing, assembling, and repairing piping systems under the guidance of skilled tradespeople.
• Learn to fabricate and shape metal components for industrial and commercial projects.
• Develop the ability to read and interpret schematics, and technical drawings.
• Gain practical skills in cutting, welding, and shaping metal through hands-on tasks.
• Support experienced pipefitters and fabricators in pressure testing and ensuring system quality.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members on-site and in the workshop to gain a broad range of trade experience.

• Basic understanding of tools and equipment (training will be provided).
